Hello This is Patrice Steven Anderson, I just want to give a guitar lesson here on how to play hymns on the guitar.
Now here the fate forwarded about this church is we use the traditional piano and organ are our regular services. But this could be used may be on a camping trip or somewhere like that where guitar, will be more appropriate. And basically the reason why I am playing hymns on the guitar, is so easy. Almost everything consists of three codes. And its so easy to transpose on the guitar, in whatever key you like to sing. So for example, you take the easiest key probably to play on guitar, the key of ’c’.
You gonna have three basic chords, first chord is, C chord, which is like this. And then there is will be the F chord. And then the G7. Now personally I like to play just G, instead G7 and you get the same effect. I just think the sound little bit is more original chord on the guitar. And so you can play any song virtually in hymn node, with these just three chords, C, F and G.
