And do that back now is four, two, three, one. I don’t need that. Next one you can do is play first and second fret and then go four, three. This will be a little challenging at first until you get used to it.

So it’s one, two, four, three down to the A, one, two, four, three and then back down we gonna four, three, one, two. Now these are pretty good warm up exercises also, I still do some of them before I play a gig. Though no one here is, a lot of people forget about the pinky getting the pinking, especially beginners, this pinky is going to save you, its going to make a lot quicker than the normal. So let’s do a little one, four on each string. So here is a one, four.

I will take a little bit of the E string at first. And after you get that play one on the E string, play four on the A string, play A on the D string, then play four on the G and then do that backwards. Now what you wanna do is once you get comfortable doing these different exercises is you wanna continue moving down the fret work. Say, such as the first one we did, one, two, three, four, we keep continuing going down. Get down to the fifth fret.

So you guys here are some beginning dexterity exercises for you. Good luck.

In case you didn’t see the video in part 1 of this series… here it is again.
