Alright, here’s a little quick lesson on um… right hand technique here. Now, a lot of people begin by just playing with a pick. And yeah, initially it’s easier to play with a pick, but I think it’s a good idea to learn how to play with your fingers first.
So uh… what I’m going to demonstrate is sort of like uh… a user’s guide to bass.
It’s a… essentially a way to get by, and to sort of be able to jam with your friends and have fun if you don’t, you know, if you’re the guy who gets stuck, the person who gets stuck playing the bass there, and uh, you know, you don’t really know what to do. I’m going to show you a little trick, and it’s called, just something that I use all the time and it’s super fun and it sounds like it. It’s uh… sort of like a pentatine scale. I like to call it the rock box and uh… what the… I’m going to play the rock box in G, and I’m just going to do it and then uh… It’s really easy, just goes like…
