Hi I am Bob from Toronto Canada. This guitar lesson is an introduction to Heavy metal power chords and it is mainly for beginners. A power chord is a record made of two notes displayed with distortion.

Like so. The reason that only two notes are used is that when you play the chord its all the chords using distortion its not the real chord itself. Like this. So how does it sound? Use the same chords using power chords. So as the power chords goes plus is better. There is an example of the song using power chords. Its ron Man’ by Bob just a quick one demonstration. So this is how to play a power chord. Play the F low on the sixth string..top string and the C node on the fifth string..third fret. Play them together. I hear the chords of the guitar. Power chords starting with E and the D then F..first fret first fret sorry F.

Third fret G ..fifth fret A..seventh fret B, eighth fret C..tenth fret D and twelfth fret E. Starting with fifth string open A then the second fret B, third fret C, fifth fret is D, seventh fret E, eighth fret is F, tenth fret is G and twelfth fret is A.

If you want, you can add a third note to a power chord looks so. Its the F, C on the fifth string third fret and a fourth string third fret, which is half again. So that’s again so.
