Hello, how are you doing? It is Justin here for another guitar lesson this time we are checking out possibly the easiest song of all the time which is Feelin Alright by Joe Cocker version. But there are lots of different versions if you can gonna play along with his version you gotta a need a capo infact at most of the versions I was listen to this morning require the use of capo. Really, all you need is a capo and chord A and D, which is pretty straight forward. If you are doing the Joe Cocker version you need the capo on the third fret. Which is what gonna teach you today. If you are doing the Lu Lu version you need the capo at the eighth fret to be good for girls singing. If you are doing the Dave Mustaine version you need the capo on the second fret. It you are doing the grand Funk version to play along there track you need the capo on the fifth fret. But the chord sequence and the extra stuff stays the same all the time.
Very simple version you can do if you want to. So the most super duper easy version of this is one bar of A and one bar of D repeat over and over again for the whole song. So we just do four strokes on each bar on A chord. The D 7 The chorus is the same here . you have to this for the whole song. May practice is you can do it first. But you probably you want to make it little bit more fancy if you can. So really would like it make it little bit more fancy is to change the chords a little bit and make it to A7 and D7 chord and if you haven’t learned this chord then vibrant stick to doing either D but once you have learned A7 and D7 chord you wanna go with it fancy. Or you May be use A and D and A7 and D7 for the cords up to you. Well if we look at that chord it is A7 to D7. Still look like there is that little thing that little magic ingredient that we need is the rhythm.
Now there is a kind of up tempered funky kind of change generally which is 60 which isn’t covered in my beginners course it will be touched on in my intermediate course and it’s rules are explained in my DVD really useful storming techniques volume two. We return really later to go through if you want to get this chill down now what you need to know is you wanna four movements for each beat so one two three four beats each gonna be divided by four to be down up down up. So you have one two three four, one two three four, one two three four. Now if just you trump continuously like that you put kind of more interesting putting up exactly what like well that could be .
Slightly more fancy to get again if you want get some accent going and all if don’t have accent just trump this chords with the hands. if you wanna to do that you wanna suggest me one, you may try down, down, up up up up. With these two chords the cool thing about this tune you can really you can have a really you can really play out with the rhythm and the actual chords from self more C7 and F7 and off course you want to try it out. And any variations that you want to put and this is actually a really good tune from playing about with C domain and F domain chords. Have some fun with it I will see you again for another lessons sometime real soon take care bye bye.
