“Here’s something that I learned -uh- to help me remember half steps and whole steps long time ago. Whole steps always skip a keep with one key in between. Half steps are from key to key with no keys in between. Looks like the guitar is moving in half steps…..”

“Key to key another fancy word is chromatic. Key to key on a piano it would’ve been ‘E’, he moves right over to ‘F’ and now you’re going what? So let me just guess, if ‘E’ is note in here and then the next half step up is this ‘F’…”
