Alright, we’re going to learn ‘When I come around’ by GreenDay.
This is going to be one of the easiest songs you’ll ever have to try to tackle, and couple of verse riffs, chorus riff, that’s the whole song. So we’re going to start with the intro which is exactly like the verse. We’re going to start with this G power chord. First finger on the third fret, sixth string, third finger on the sixth fret uh… fifth fret, sixth string, the pinkie on the fifth fret, fourth string. We’re going to go up to the D. We’ll do the chord first, then the rhythm. We’re going to put our first finger on the fifth fret, fifth string, third finger on the seventh fret, fourth string, and the pinkie on the seventh fret, third string. Then we’re going to go up, two frets, same chord except this time we’re going to add um… second string eighth fret, or second finger. And then down for the C power chord. First finger third fret, fifth string, we’re going to put our third finger on the fifth fret, second third and fourth string. That chord will also be used in the chorus. Well that’s all the chords for the verse. So the rhythm is this.
